Indirect measurements of ceramic materials and glasses properties at high temperatures.

Abstract

This report has been presented at the meeting called “Actualisation and improvement of raw materials and ceramic bodies quality for tiles production”, which was held by Faenza Editrice, Sassuolo, Auditorium Assopiastrelle, 16 february 2006. Some properties like the state of tension between the glaze and its body, the viscosity and the surface tension of glasses and melted glazes can be easily measured by means of indirect techniques.
